Because it was only announced in Romanian, I am repeating here in English that Florin Orezeanu and Alina Cosmoiu were recently awarded the top film honor in Romania by the Cinematographers and Film Makers there, equivalent to our Academy Awards. This was for their film-essay called Paganini's Watercolours. I hope you all get to see it. It is truly magnificent.

On the same program, entitled East of Vienna, will be George Enescu's Romanian Rhapsody, Bela Bartok's Hungarian Peasant Songs, along with works by Boris Pigovat and Alfred Hill.

I want to announce to my readers the publication of my latest book, my seventh in English, called Gary Goldschneider's Everyday Astrology. This, finally, is the sun-sign book I always wanted to write. It is published by Quirk Books in Philadelphia and was the brainchild of publisher David Borgenicht. I have just received an author's copy and it looks really great. It is subtitled How to Make Astrology Work for You, giving tips and advice in hundreds of different categories such as How to Approach a Leo Boss for a Raise (also The Aries Boss, Taurus Boss, etc. for all 12 signs), Suggested Activities for the Libra First Date (also for the other signs), and Borrowing Money from a Capricorn Friend (ditto the others). Categories covered are Work, Love, Friends and Family. It is a kind of handbook that can be followed in many areas of everyday life. You just need to know the astrological sign of the other person, and away you go! I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.
Gary Goldschneider's Everyday Astrology is now available for pre-order on amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com. It should be in your local bookstore sometime in September.
